This is the partial relinquishment report for EPM 25130, for three relinquished sub blocks on 14 February 2020. Originally EPM 25130 was granted on the 4 March 2014 for a period of 5 years.
The EPM lies adjacent to other projects held by Queensland Ores Holdings Pty Ltd (e.g. EPMs 15203, 16216, 25130, 25546), and forms part of the larger Coonambula Project, prospective for vein-style Antimony Gold mineralisation (Figure 1). The Coonambula Project appears to have some similarities to that of the Antimony-Gold deposits at Hillgrove in NSW. Much of the exploration work at Coonambula has focused on the Antimony-Gold workings at the Banshee and Perseverance prospects. However, other targets on surrounding EPMs have been identified, such as Lady Mary Prospect on EPM 25130.
Evaluation of the conglomerate gold has been tested for deep leads or paleo-channels throughout the project area. A radiometric anomaly similar to those of the sandy deep leads does occur diagonally across the northern two relinquished sub-blocks. This anomaly may be an unmapped deep lead. No exploration work has been completed on the 3 relinquished sub-blocks, as no mineralisation has been reported, mapped or located.
